Classic 9 Motorwerks exists with a singular vision: to create an inspired interpretation of the Porsche 911 shaped by motorsport heritage, engineering precision, and timeless design.

Founder Jason Faulkner’s passion for Porsche began in the early 1970s while watching the evolution of the racing 911 RSRs and wide-body Turbo 935s at regional IMSA events. That era of Porsche history where engineering, racing pedigree, and iconic design converged left a lasting impression and continues to influence every vehicle created at Classic 9 today.

With more than 30 years as a licensed architect and the founder of Studio 9 Architecture, Jason brings a highly considered design perspective to Classic 9. His architectural training, along with decades spent shaping spaces, structures, and details, have cultivated an instinct for proportion, materiality, craftsmanship, and precision that translates naturally to both the restoration of these remarkable automobiles and the spaces created to house them. He understands that true restoration is not simply about making something look new, but about honoring its original design language while thoughtfully bringing it forward. Whether restoring a Porsche or designing the environment around it, Jason approaches every project with the same architectural rigor and respect for design integrity. The result is work that feels cohesive, intentional, and remarkably resolved. Where every detail has a reason to be there.

According to Jason:

Among the most influential has been Levon Pentecost, founder of iSystems, whose 50 years of racing and engine-building expertise have been instrumental in shaping Classic 9 projects from their earliest concepts. Through decades of experience, extensive manufacturer relationships, and advanced in-house development capabilities, performance is approached as a discipline not simply assembled from parts catalogs, but engineered with intention.
