Classic 9 Motorwerks exists with a singular vision: to create an inspired interpretation of the Porsche 911 shaped by motorsport heritage, engineering precision, and timeless design.

Founder Jason Faulkner’s passion for Porsche began in the early 1970s while watching the evolution of the racing 911 RSRs and wide-body Turbo 935s at regional IMSA events. That era of Porsche history where engineering, racing pedigree, and iconic design converged left a lasting impression and continues to influence every vehicle created at Classic 9 today.

With more than 25 years as a licensed architect, Jason brings a unique perspective to the automotive world. Trained to understand form, proportion, materiality, and precision, he approaches each project through the lens of design integrity. The result is visible in every detail: cars that feel cohesive, intentional, and remarkably resolved.

A Different Philosophy

Classic 9 Motorwerks is not defined by restoration alone, nor by modification. The work exists within a more refined category creating heritage-inspired machines through a process of design, engineering, and craftsmanship.

According to Jason:

"There is a universal language of design that transcends architecture, automotive, industrial, and product design."

The same principles that guide exceptional architecture also shape extraordinary automobiles: understanding materials, respecting process, and creating harmony between aesthetics and performance.

This philosophy drives every decision from chassis development and fabrication to performance objectives and final execution. Every component is selected, engineered, or created with purpose.

The pursuit of excellence has also led Classic 9 to collaborate with some of the most respected craftsmen and specialists in the industry.

Among the most influential has been Levon Pentecost, founder of iSystems, whose 45+ years of racing and engine-building expertise have been instrumental in shaping Classic 9 projects from their earliest concepts. Through decades of experience, extensive manufacturer relationships, and advanced in-house development capabilities, performance is approached as a discipline not simply assembled from parts catalogs, but engineered with intention.
