Classic 9 Motorwerks manufactures heritage-inspired Porsche 911s from donor chassis, built from bare metal for the purist driver. Each Classic 9 begins with a carefully selected donor chassis. From there, the car is completely disassembled, stripped to bare metal, chemically treated, reinforced, and reconstructed from the foundation upward. Every surface, weld, component, and mechanical system is approached with precision and purpose. The result is not a restored Porsche. It is a handcrafted analog 911 authentically reborn through the lens of motorsport heritage, engineering discipline, and timeless design.

Classic 9 preserves Porsche’s analog spirit by creating handcrafted air-cooled 911s that honor the motorsport’s heritage: light, raw, responsive, and beautifully mechanical. As 911s evolved over the decades, becoming larger, heavier, and increasingly electronic, many enthusiasts found themselves drawn back to the early air-cooled cars for their simplicity, lightweight character, and direct connection to the road.

We do not restore old cars, nor do we build retro-modern interpretations. Each car begins with a donor chassis from 1969–1989, stripped to bare metal, acid dipped, reinforced at the unibody level, and reconstructed with the same restraint, purpose, and mechanical honesty that defined Porsche’s golden era. The original VIN remains with the chassis throughout the transformation, preserving the lineage and authenticity of the car while reimagining what Porsche might have built today if the analog experience had remained the priority. Every decision is intentional. Nothing excessive. Nothing performative. Only a focused expression of what made the early 911 exceptional in the first place.
